I do not claim to be a sophisticated investor or trader. I am curious about the behaviour of MMs discussed on previous threads. Today I added to my 1 mil plus position with a couple smaller trades at the ask to test the MMs response. The MMs promptly lowered the ask after the orders were filled putting AMBS back in the red. Are the MMs short and wanting to lessen that position at lower prices....holding the price range to allow larger buyers to fill at these prices...or is this the market just being the market seeking equilibrium?
