kbulldog, much of what you say is correct, and I have been saying the same things although called much worse for having done so. I brought the value added points forward as a cautionary post because Bill continued to deny zoning was an issue while the town maintained otherwise. You also have to remember the buidling permit for the pole barn was issued in advance of the town being notified as per its use. Again, stories, talk over coffee counters, does not constitute lawful notice.
The specs were not approved by the town, only the construction meaning once part A was built, that was inspected to ensure part B could be safely added on, then Part C and so on. The fence permit was also approved, you are right. The town via their regulations approve construction yes.
The 6000 square feet would subtract the size of the vault for storage so you would have to have the rest of the area for drying, trimming, sorting, packaging, labelling and so on. But ask why Bill continued to say zoning was not an issue. When the town counel said on July 15th grandfathering was not an option, the next day Bill said it did not apply to his company, but the town maintained it did, and did so at that meeting.
There are more questions than answers. There is also hope an appeal may overturn the decision made by the town last night. It still must be approved by the County.
