"I just asked an attorney friend and we don't have standing to sue message board posters. Only the company can. If shareholders have been harmed by malicious public statements about a company they invested in then it's the company's responsibility to take action.
Will our insurance cover it? John needs to do something. He should have years ago!"

I'm betting that the company will be pursuing legal action when the time is right for them. I know that there are plenty of shareholders that will assist financially....myself for one!
