Health Canada would not even consider public protests when considering an application. Their own regulations state quite clearly that not wanting a medical mj facility is not enough to not grant permission for it to be located in any jurisdiction. Once the town determines what amendments, if any, will be brought into force on November 4th, that won't even affect what HC decides . All HC requires is the applicant must meet all local zoning regulations, end of story. The open house, opposition to the facility, etc etc is just noise to HC and not even a consideration for them.

Personally I am awaiting the next seekingalpha blog to see who next is quoted from the government. The more that guy writes, the more this drops.
