If you watched the Lakeshore meetings you will recall a citizen asking the question "If the zoning laws are changed can we make them (CEN BIotech) conform after they are passed?" A council member answered "YES!" and then another member chimed in to say, in effect, "That is not true." It is, in fact, not true. The attorney representing the local citizens said he is afraid that CEN will be grandfathered once the license is issued. Once again, not true. You will notice that Lakeshore HAS PASSED NO NEW ZONING for medical marijuana producers under the MMPR while other municipalities have done so. Wonder why that is?
