I think AMBS needs much higher daily volume than what it is currently doing. Even if AMBS R/S and the volume still remains anemic, it is still going to only require the same paltry dollar amount to manipulate the price up or down.

Also, with anemic volume on a national exchange I think manipulation may be even more prevalent. I've never used directed trades, but I am pretty sure someone can just buy and sell shares back and forth to themselves between two different accounts.

I don't know what the magic number is, but I'd like to see at least 2-3% of the float traded daily to slow down the manipulation. It is going to have to be much higher as long as the market cap is so low. But 2-3% on a 500m cap is 10-15m which may start to be out of reach of some of the smaller manipulators. Now anyone with 100,000$ in cash could march this up and walk it down.
