Nxt-ID (Nasdaq: NXTD) appoints new vice president and chief financial officer

Nxt-ID announced that it has named Vincent S. Miceli the company’s vice president and chief financial officer, effective immediately.
Miceli previously served as vice president and CFO/treasurer of Panolam Industries International, Inc, a privately-held company that designs, manufactures, and distributes decorative and industrial laminates.
Prior to that, Miceli served as CFO and corporate controller of eye care service firm Opticare Health Systems, Inc.
He also held senior accounting positions at Amphenol Corporation and United Technologies, Inc.
Gino Pereira has stepped down from his position as the CFO, but will continue to serve as Nxt-ID’s CEO and director.
According to Nxt-ID, Pereira’s departure as CFO is “not related to any disagreement with the company regarding any financial, accounting or other matters.”
