I think you are misunderstanding OTC's point. He made it clear that he is not a day trader. Even longs need to understand what the charts are saying. It helps you to not overreact or get too emotional if you have an idea of what is coming down the road. Either way it is one mans interpretation. Take it for what it is and appreciate that he has taken the time to share it
