Yes the ball is dropped right in Times Square. I live nearby in northern NJ and get to go to Times Square a few times a year and it can be pretty intense. Times square gets crazy on New Years so I refuse to ever go sit there on NYE but many people will see this advertising on that day. I will be in NYC at the end of the month I will try to keep an eye out on it and maybe even get an image or recording if it happens to play while I am there.
