Interesting. If the lawyer hemmed and hawed any more he wouldn't have gotten a word out. He also used a lot of fuzzy logic and innuendo (like if the stock price goes up with the license we'll have all the money in the world to hire lawyers, etc.). And it's interesting that they would consider this whole issue and arguments by a lawyer without allowing the company to speak on its side of the issues.
We have more than one lawyer on our team presently, including Bill, who is licensed in Canada and the United States. We have also hired the best we could find in moving this forward -- from legal to consultants in order to be compliant all the way.
It really does look as if the council is now waffling on where they stood before, and the motivation of a few there is suspect.
It's interesting that they also said the buildings were "empty shells." Really? I guess that huge vault and the grow rooms don't actually exist.
In the end I must rely on our leadership to have moved ahead in the proper fashion and be capable of handling this.
