Wow, played a bunch of Van Morrison in my night club career! My one minor brush with a celebrity was when this guy walked into a club where the band I was in was playing, he was wearing a thick (obviously fake black beard). After the set the guy comes up to me and says "Hey, your band is great!" I said thanks, and before I can say anything else, he says "Do you ever watch the David Letterman show?" I said "Yeah, but I got to tell ya the one guy I can't stand on that show is, Paul Schafer." I begged out to go have a smoke, our guitarist came out and said to me, "Do you know who that guy was???" you guessed it.
