This may be old news for some (July). I found this comment of Bills and thought is was appropriate for the recent conversation.

CEN Biotech President and CEO Bill Chaaban is confident his company has already taken all the appropriate steps to operate in Lakeshore.

“I think it was very clear that we are grandfathered because we have given notice to the town and pulled the required permits prior to them ever dreaming of coming up with [medical marijuana] legislation or hemp legistlation,” says Chaaban. “I don’t think [the proposed hemp and medical marijuana bylaw] will affect us, it will affect the competition.”
