Dave, I've learned to translate a little Geraldspeak this past year and I believe to this financial engineer and CEO "increasing shareholder value" means to increase the value of the company. An example would be adding a new MANF indication tba Oct. 6. Whether the market reflects that value increase is anybody's guess. It may have been obvious to you in which case oops, my bad, but "increasing shareholder value" doesn't necessarily mean increasing share price which probably every CEO would love to be able to do at will. As Buffett has said the market can continue to under- (or over-) value a company for a long, long time.
