VXX taking it on the chin again today even with a down market and VIX in positive territory.  I'm somewhat at a loss as to why with the VIX up nearly 1%, VXX continues to plummet.  It isn't simply VXX that is bucking the trend in volatility, VIXY (the ProShares VIX instrument) is also down as well. 

I was hoping the $20 level would hold but as I write this, VXX is moving through that.  The next stop should be $19.88 and after that, all bets are off.

VXX was up this mornign but fell off as the overall indices parred their losses.  I do believe that a correction is coming, obviously, the trick is timing the move.

Only down a little on this second VXX position and will hold since I have 6 months until expiration and Theta isn't eroding the position much right now.
