As a matter of fact, Joe, I'd even be for a one month OTC Contest. So many of these one day wonders pop 100-200%+ and end up lower at the end of the week. Try picking a penny play that moves 100%+ over a month or so, and see if it's still up at the end. Now THAT'S picking a winner.
How about a contest once in a while where it begins on the 1st of a new month and the winner is the individual whose stock is the highest on the last trading day of the month? In essence, a 30 day contest which only takes in effect the first day and the last day of the month? Probably won't get much attention, but it would certainly separate the P&Ds and promos from a real stock that might be appreciating on real growth and not a paid pump.
