My problem isnt with FITX as a vision or plan. Hell, I love both. I think Bill is a great planner and team builder.
I loathe (in my best Newman voice) the very poor communication that the company has. We went from one extreme (diarrhea of the mouth) to another (awkward silence). I can dig that we cant get into merger specifics, etc. I can't accept that the company won't push a "fluff" PR to rally the troops with an "update" (as an example). From the Hemp Tech renegotiation, the "expect" license snafu, the painful silence, to today's rather weak letter to "shareholders" (read: Lakeshore), its damn frustrating. Its a repeated pattern of bad communication skills. They are not representing themselves, or us in that process, like a million dollar operation, let alone the Billion dollar company they'll become. It HAS to improve, and I do blame the CEO for this.
That said, Bill Swalm is a fantastic fit for his position and is a very personable person. I enjoy talking to him.
