I don't know how you can refute the math. HDPE, PP and LDPE plastics will cost around $800/ton. Pure diesel, if calculated per weight, costs around $800/ton. Even if PTOI could make pure, salable diesel at their stated 87% conversion, it's still a losing proposition.
It cannot be profitable to convert HDPE, PP, LDPE plastics to any type of fuel. You either don't understand the math or you don't trust me and are unwilling to ask Dr. Google to find out.
