Lots of sentiment on the board today, as there should be. Nobody here can or should blame anyone else because of PPS. I see on the board that some of you took advantage of today's lows. Good for you because those that did are buying a heavily discounted stock. Was this PPS foreseeable, Yes. Look at the daily chart 5/21 and 5/5 and 3/4 and check those lows relative to today's low
The magic of politics (whose) has reared it's head. MMJ is here and is not going to go away but who will control the industry is more a political battle being fought through typical nefarious ways by industry that wants to protect it's interest and/or position itself within the MMJ industry. IMO, what we are seeing now is an effort of positioning via politics. Why would local folks be suddenly stirred up and represented by council at the last moments prior to license? Was the construction a secret, done with no permits, no city approval? Not hardly.
Companies positioning themselves for large scale operations also draw huge attention and if successful (licensing) are most likely to become the biggest industry winners. I know this is greatly simplifying but keep in mind this entire industry has enormous pressure to succeed from the basis of tax revenues. Then think of which industry has the most to lose or gain by being out of position and ask yourself is it possible that politics may be a means to gain position.
Of course it is.
IMO
FITX will get its license.
Those who buy discounted shares will benefit significantly.
I am expecting .79 PPS within 12 months or less once license is issued.
