Rock Center airs at 10PM on NBC Tuesday nights (I think it's hosted by Brian Williams?). I checked the guide on my satellite system and the show description doesn't give anything related to this. I normally don't watch the network channels so I have no idea what format Rock Center uses for their show. I can only guess that they do segments of various stories. I will set up the DVR to record the show tonight and see what happens. I suggest anyone interested do the same and hope we get that story here in the States.
