I got my pricing from cedar trees.com
And they sell them by diameter not
Height as the latter denotes the age
of the tree. Height is usually for Christmas trees
not diameter. Also while we're kicking this around,
I think a pine, Douglas fir or even a hemlock might
provide better coverage than a cedar. Cedar also
happens to have more oil than the others, which is
why they use it for fencing and roofing due to it's
resilience against moister. Longevity! And because
Of the oil content it becomes more of a fire liability
for what there trying to secure. So my vote would
be for a Noble Fir. You can always tell when cedar
Is burning. It snaps, crackles and pops due to the
high oil content. I used to live in the Pacific Northwest
and did my share of landscape jobs!
