A little bit about the relationship between OSU & Battelle, in my 2 cents opinion.

OSU ( used to be the largest single campus in the nation; ranks the third largest

in 2014; with the main campus in Columbus, Ohio and more than four billion

dollar annual budget and Battelle (with headquarter in Columbus, Ohio, the

world’s largest independent research and development organization, and

managing seven major US Labs are close partners for decades and just

Battelle recruits top scientists and researchers from OSU and other major

schools with top salaries.

(Two of my friends were retired senior scientists from Battelle and they were

recruited when they were OSU professors. My wife and daughter got their

undergrad and graduate degrees from OSU)
