Is it possible it will play out this way? And remember, this is only a guess so I'll be brief.
What if we were to stay with ICON not only to progress through CLIA and RUO and all that, but also go it alone and have ICON push LYMPRO through the FDA for wider commercialization without a Big Pharma JV agreement. And once approved put LYMPRO/diagnostic division up for sale and start a "bidding war". AMBS has hired a specialist to find the right codes for reimbursement, so once we get that lined up it would be ready to go.
I don't understand how we can get into a JV agreement with a Big Pharma if we intend to sell LYMPRO? What Big Pharma would want to move it through commercialization to only have it sold it out from underneath them? And how can we start a bidding war locked into a JV agreement? In other words, is it possible to stay with ICON until LYMPRO is in the box ready to go on the shelf with reimbursement lined up, and then put it up for sale?
