Re: Warp #6845
Warp: We have a Shareholder Meeting on Monday. Several shareholders will be there and speak with management. I think having a period of intense discussion on the mb about all the relevant issues is good preparation prior to the meeting.

I think the better the critical thinking of shareholders is regarding what management does, (as opposed to the Kool Aid mentality where everything is always great!) the better we're able to collectively let management know of our displeasure if things are not going in the right direction. (You already know several of the areas I feel are concerns. There are several areas I am excited about, as well.)

I've spoken with Gerald face to face 3 times at Conferences and twice during Conference Calls. I suspect I will visit with him again at some Conferences. Our discussions are always very cordial, but I get in a lot of questions. For example, watson claims to have seen me in Las Vegas when I was speaking with Gerald for an hour after the meeting. In watson's words I "grilled" Gerald. I think watson meant it positively, but then again, I'm not sure watson was even there! LOL

Warp, I had a really great experience with a stock I made great money in and rolled my profits over into AMBS. That one worked out very well for me. But I've been in stocks that showed great promise that completely blind sided me. So I'm cautious. Not cautious enough to stay out of small Bio-tech stocks, but......I'm cautious. I like Gerald, but I won't let his charisma dissuade me from being objective about his execution.

I think Gerald's blog today is an example of his attempt to be accountable to shareholders. He undoubtedly is aware of shareholder displeasure over some things, and the market's reaction to the stock. Shareholder discussions do end up making their way to management. If they are valid, management will respond, as Gerald did today. The AMBS drama goes on.
