We have been hearing the "I'll get my information from the filings" line for years now.
Until the company files for bankruptcy, filings and press releases are the main things I look for. Where do you think reliable information about the company would / should come from?
Quote:
The filings have come out and it has been largely one bad thing after another.
That is a matter of opinion, which of course you are entitled to. It is not uncommon for timelines of start ups to get pushed out, especially when the tech is evolving.

Certainly never a quarter that displayed a business plan coming together into something of value.
Again, that is your opinion. I don't share it.

Mostly a string of failures that initial and current management has never taken responsibility for.
If you're telling me that setbacks never occur in start ups, then I submit that you don't have much experience being involved in start ups. As to the "taking responsibility" bit - how do you suggest they do that? An open letter to shareholders, apologizing for funding the company for the past year largely from their own pockets?

But the cheerleaders just keep on cheering.
Ah, yes, your pejorative use of the word "cheerleader" is of course to be expected.....if you're referring to those who continue to hold shares, invest in the company, and actually want the company to succeed, then yes, I am a cheerleader. Unashamedly so.

I believed the technology was on the right track for way too long.
Your timeline expectations not being met doesn't equate to failure of tech.

Now we wait to see if a third party can do anything with what was developed.
Absolutely. We wait. Until the company announces what's next.

Anybody thinking about investing should wait for them to conclude their investigation and find out how their expertise will be paid for if they move forward.
That is a reasonable statement. Far more reasonable than the rest of the post.
One way or another, this story will end, and some here have placed their bets that they're on the right side of it. At least they have the balls to "have skin in the game".
