I think this is how it is. They foresee having the full data package by eoy, having lympro boom, set, settled, in use, tested and looking true. Remember Geralds comments after july c4ct? That they expect to blow everyone away at the next c4ct (which is jan 28 2015 on c4ct website)? Well, if you ask me, the winter c4ct during football playoffs will be the best time for media events etc and to really show the baller data. We will accumulate the evidence and reveal it beforehand, but that will be the big show off point, jan and feb. Can you imagine being part of a 60 minutes segment, even for 5 minutes of a 20 minute story on concussions on pre superbowl sunday, having clips played over and over during week leading to game? I think we would be better served if we're not an OTC stock at that point. But I think they wonder if it makes more sense to use the biotech pump craziness that always occurs after christmas to tie in with media push, winter ct4c, other attention since thats heavy sports season period to get a better r/s scenario etc. By then, we will have a firmer foundation in other areas too like manf and elto and I really could see between fundamentals and the right media environment the ideal situation. I have no idea what the right decision is. All I know is I am in this company until I see them having shit data or being so wrong/blind that they have to dilute against their guidance.
I played college soccer, defense since I was 4, so I have taken years and years of repeated head abuse including two concussions and feel a little dimmer these days. I am curious myself if I have damage and my aging parents and the fact I may have to care for them (lest I surely inherit the Wind) make me very eager to get shit rolling on the alz/pd fronts. The pedigree of people involved in this company is great. The science makes some sense to me as a chem major and to my buddies in med school, as much as it can to a non specialist. It's a bet. A bet for a better life and the reward in assisting in that achievement.
I never bet the farm, but I have been duly rewarded and lost my ass on companies like this before. Management is key. GC is a great writer and he's also probably impatient with his own success, building up some hype in his own mind because he wants it to be true and needs to communicate the value of that potential. It colors his writing, and explains why he writes so much. But I don't doubt his determination or the skill set of the team. Maybe they got assets for a song that won't sing. Assets in all areas of investment get pumped all the time. Sometimes shit doesn't pan out. But there is no indication this won't with a consistently growing management team and old school service minded science. There appears a stark difference between the officers here and officers in companies where I've lost my ass. We will see.
