I don't view the press releases as having ulterior motives. I view them as management keeping shareholders updated. Some PRs have more meat than others, but that doesn't equate to the less important PRs being issued as attempts to prop up the share price. There have been similar PRs released during times of a rising share price as well as times the share price was declining.
