Re: Daveludlow #6292
all - I genuinely believe what Dave is asking for here is more specifics on the newly proposed addit. 1-Bil. AS before the ASM. I don't think there is anything wrong with questioning this - and expecting some formal guidance from management - in addition to those responses already provided during the CC. Maybe an email directly sent to GC from Dave is what is needed. However, this is a public forum and we will get varying thoughts. Trashing the stock is one thing and getting booted for that or manipulating the MB for ones own personal gains is another dismissal type offense - agreed.
However, I also have to be mindful that what may be asked in the addit. 1-Bil. AS could come under the auspices of "confidential information" that may not be 100% available for public dissemination. I tend to think that is whats going on here.
Additionally, without the company employing an IR spokeperson, GC has kind of assumed the duty of building shareholder value and thus, assumes the responsibility for same, while building the company simultaneously. This is not unheard of regarding small cap company's having CEO's perform multiple tasks, all due to budgetary constraints.
All said, I have genuinely enjoyed the variety of contributions made by the likes of Warp, Tans, Natural Treasures, Code, Risk, Southie, Gipps, Bricks, Maui, Zooms, and the countless others here - you know who you are folks - many thanks for the outstanding drill down and concerted effort...this thread rocks!
All the Best, JP
