American Green Acquires OG TeaCommits to Cultivation in and Beyond the Legal Cannabis Market

TEMPE, AZ -- (Marketwired) -- 09/12/14 -- American Green, Inc.(ERBB) announced today that it has acquired the OG Tea Corporation (https://ogtea.com) whose primary business supplies a system of veganic products specially designed to promote the healthy growth of general produce. The acquisition adds top and bottom line revenues to American Green and strengthens its relationship with entities throughout the legal cannabis industry while providing an opportunity to sell products into the multi-billion dollar agriculture market. After reviewing the market potential, the company expects to increase OG Tea's revenues from over $1,000,000 for the next calendar year, based on current sales, to at least $3,300,000 in top line revenues for American Green in the next fourteen months with the additional sales and marketing expertise contributed by the company.
OG Tea permeates the soil with beneficial microbes and mycorrhiza, thus squeezing out bad bacteria, pathogens, molds, and mildews. These microbes help break down nutrients in the soil making them more readily available to the plants while improving water retention and plant immunity. One of the company's most sought-after products is its Veganic Special Sauce (VSS) which is now registered as a specialty fertilizer in several states, including California, giving the company the ability to be carried on the shelves of large-scale outlets such as Home Depot.
