What you may mean is that Gerry retired 25 million in debt and bought 5 million dollars worth of common stock at $70.00 per share. That was a straight gift of $30.00 million and that could be the reason you are confused. Gerry Lenfest has lost one heck of a load of money more than that.
When Frank and Joe Murphy was CEO they made a few bucks now and then but for the most part lost a ton.
