Re: Daveludlow #5802
Why are we so focused on short-term expectations for a long-term investment? Seems kind of foolish and a waste of time. The day after the Copenhagen conference my AMBS investment lost 500K in value in a single day. Did I freak out? NO. Was I concerned? YES, but I'm in this for the long term, and I'm not looking for someone to blame for a short-term drop in value. It's a snapshot in time, nothing more.
Look at the overall picture, and it is clear where things are headed. The rest is minutia and really not worth the effort. But if you enjoy wallowing in minutia, by all means enjoy yourself. I'm not mad at anyone either, but I'm not going to continue wallowing in it. I continue to believe this is the investment opportunity of a lifetime.
I'm happy Gerald has decided to cut off communication with individual shareholders and free himself to focus on the company, not our petty concerns and unrealistic short-term expectations. That's Aimee's job.
I'm excited about what will unfold over the coming weeks and months.
