At the Lakeshore meeting where new zoning was discussed, was there not a grand total of 3 people with concerns? All were close neighbors if I'm recalling this correctly. The council was withering under the fire of 3 individuals. I don't understand the sentiment that Lakeshore doesn't want CEN Biotech. All the pre-build press was overwhelmingly positive and the city officials were quite welcoming. I think they have been blindsided by how much attention this company is drawing and unsure of how to put the press to their political advantage. Liberals in Canada are for recreational legalization, conservatives are for decriminalization. Either way pot is here to stay. I wish the mayor would stand up for his original supportive position. Sorry about the 3 people who don't like the look of the facilities, take it up with Health Canada, they set the ground rules.
