Many years ago when I met Gerry Lenfest at a shareholders meeting I asked him why the employees never bought any stock in TelVue and the insiders never bought any either. It’s easy for the detractors of TelVue stock to say it speaks volumes . There was in place at that time a policy not to buy shares because TelVue was such a small company and the employees were so closely knit at that time that there was too much chance for inside information to be spread. I can only think that policy is still in place.
Ironically those detractors of our stock still use the charge of inside information .
Perhaps it’s time to lift this restriction. Perhaps it’s time for some insiders to buy shares or at least take advantage of stock options.
It might even be time for a PR (even if they do cost money) with some information concerning the future of TelVue.
