As kids we used to go to Laguna for the 8' waves.. and the rubber (1 dude) rafts you could rent down at the boardwalk.. dangerous!! hahaha. stupid kids having a blast. The nearest next "Laguna-like" experience I had at 21 in Oahu at Sandy Beach.. and there IS a reason it's named as such! First time the rip left me on top of a wave with no water below?(wha???) I remembered Laguna.. but gave Sandy a 10X for THAT experience..
