there is plenty of area to park near hwy on CWRN's entrance road as seen here where there is some elevation for viewing the laydown yard-background where cwrn entrance diverges from hwy

due to guadalupe river probably not much in way of side road on cwrn side of hwy-
there are those somewhat higher elev buildings on other side of hwy opposite the lower elevation end of the mine where again you might have a straight shot to see up the valley of the coloso vein
