I spoke to Fidelity yesterday about HNSS being DTC Not eligible and they told me what I knew from the start.
HNSS is eligible for electronic clearing and thus does not have any additional fees associated with selling this stock. Keep in mind I am not selling down here, but I was just confirming what I knew already from Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC). I am posting this for those which hold a poistion in HNSS at Zecco Trading. I have spoken to both brokers (Zecco and Fidelity) and Zecco seems to want to charge the DTC fees for clearing. I would encourage all that have Zecco to contact them and give them some strong words about changing brokers. They are trying to bilk their customers for this DTC thing. I will now contact Sharebuilder (ING Direct) and confirm with them as well.
I just wanted to let eveybody know the bad business Zecco is doing.
