8/15/2014 CiG Wireless Corp Announces Second Quarter 2014 Results
Revenue for the three months ended June 30, 2014 was approximately $1.7 million, which was an increase of approximately $1.1 million or 209% compared to the same period of the prior year.
The increase in revenues of over $1.1 million was attributed to the acquisition of and the construction of towers during 2013 and the first quarter of 2014. Approximately 97% of the Company’s revenues were derived from site rental revenues of the Company’s communication towers.
The addition of 108 towers to the Company's portfolio was accomplished through the acquisition of 38 constructed towers from Liberty Towers, LLC in August 2013, the acquisition of 49 constructed towers from Southern Tower Antenna Rental, LLC completed in multiple transactions, the acquisition of 6 constructed towers in 1Q ‘14 from PTA, FLA, Inc. completed in multiple transactions totaling 19 towers and the acquisition of one additional constructed tower from Fidelity Towers, Inc in Q1 totaling two.
