Here's a 28-year-old article about some people who never found the Concepcion because they were looking in the wrong spot.

But at least they also thought it had a lot of treasure:
So maybe they were partially right in that it had a lot of treasure. However, if the wreck was 30 yards offshore it would have been salvaged and would have been another wreck with the 6 others that were driven into the shore by they captains for salvaging purposes. The Concepcion has never been found.
