You do realize that many public companies have their financial reports audited only on an annual basis? If you could care less what an unaudited report states, that would suggest that you tend to ignore what companies report 3 of the 4 quarters each year, only to use information found in an annual report to feed into your approach to investment?
Doesn't make sense to me, but if that is your method, run with it.
