I opened up a Scottrade account in 2000. I think I was their first customer lol.. I bought 50 shares of msft and 50 shares of sbux. Living in Seattle I was obviously familiar with those companies...I had shares of gsat before I parlayed those earnings into purchasing AMBS last January 200k shares and have since accumulated 50k more.
