6065 shares traded today. 6065 shares were sold short today. What is the significance?
I have been following the daily short volume of Nanologix for years now. Unless you've been doing the same, you will just have to take my word about the manipulative patterns that I've seen.
One part of their strategy is to keep a layer (or layers) of short sell orders at the ASK to absorb any buy orders (meaning bought at the ASK). This 'short' ceiling has been apparent during the recent sell off. The buy orders during this period trend with the number of shares traded short sometimes matching up to within a few hundred shares.
