I've seen information on the OTC markets site where the number of shareholders of record was previously 187 in the 1st part of the year. The latest figure as of 8/8/14 is 209.
My question is - based on your research experience, are these figures likely to be accurate? The reason for the question is that with the various stock boards (here, FB closed group, CEN FB page, 420 Investor, IHUB, Yahoo, BIG investment FB page, etc), and the conferences over the spring/summer (Weedstock, etc), even fellow posters advising that they've spread word about this company and have interested friends/coworkers/families, I would think there would be significantly more investors in this company and that the growth of 20-25 investors over the last number of months is an understatement.
If it is correct, do you think there are that many people sitting on the sideline (a factor of 2-5 times the amount of people?) waiting for the license to hit to remove a level of risk for their upcoming investment? I'm trying to get my head around this and am struggling - any insight would be appreciated.
