Re: Deputy_123 #4329
The tweet was a reply to someone who tweeted him asking if we would be getting any updates soon. If he didn't respond, the idiots out there would interpret his non-answer as either "No news is coming. I might as well sell." or "Holy cow, GC must be in a silent period since he didn't respond. Something big is coming." There's never any middle ground here. How many times will people allow their expectations to get too high? Answer: As often as they want because they'll just blame GC instead of themselves if they feel they are let down in some way.
I don't think the Bascom Palmer or the 10Q or the Proxy were fluff at all. There's a ton of information in those three releases. Anyone who sells based on supposedly being "misled" by this tweet is an idiot. He said we'd get updates. We got updates.
The funniest thing is...something big IS coming. It just might not be today and that's fine. I've never been in a stock that's had more over-reaction on both sides. Every time there has been a perceived "let down," the stock has gradually recovered once people realize that nothing fundamental has changed.
I think I'm done with the message boards for awhile. It's too frustrating.
