And, my friend, if  we assume that Tom has surrounded himself with astute sales & marketing gurus (Itink he has), the order of 20,000 units was predicated on a detailed sales forecast incorporating wholesale and retail requirements.  NO ONE in their right minds would order 20,000 units unless they had a 90 day plan for distribution and revenue accumulation for restocking.

So, I'm reading this a bit different from you although I seldom question your always well thought out analysis.  Let's take another look at your process using 1,000 units per week, minimum.  WOW!
