Ive worked with wells that were watered out 96% water yet we ran a ESP (pump) down hole produced 10,000 bbls aday and made 400 bbls of oil, of course you need the power and you need a good disposal well and a pump to injected all that water. you need a water knock out or wash tank to seperate the oil & water . then you need chemicals to prevent scale, corrison . Now there is two types of injection wells there is disposal and water flood i'm not sure what type we have but as time goges by and Treaty grows we can start to look at what we really have.
