U.S. stock futures nudge higher; data in focus
MADRID (MarketWatch)—U.S. stock futures edged higher on Thursday, with investors awaiting a clutch of data, including two gauges of manufacturing activity and weekly jobless claims, a day after the Dow industrials logged their sixth consecutive winning session.
Futures on the Dow Jones Industrial Average DJM2 +0.13% rose 18 points to 13,148. Futures for the Standard & Poor’s 500 index SPM2 +0.24% rose 2.4 points to 1,391.10. Nasdaq 100 futures NDM2 +0.32% added 6.25 points to 2,709.
