The best way to read the 10-Q is to print it and review it piece by piece over the weekend. For those who don't understand the financial statements, just focus on the text. You can circle things you have questions about or want to discuss on the board.
I love it when things like this are released heading into a weekend as it gives us plenty of time to digest the details. I'm not one who automatically assumes that news or a filing released on a Friday after market close is bad. In this case, I believe it's just setting us up for important news next week. I'm happy they got the filing done before the weekend.
