Peope that are big players don't claim that.  You want everyone to think your a big shot so you can bash from the inside.  Its pretty obvious that you are one of the flub a blub bashers that is taking a different approach.  Big Player in the oilfield would be buying the company not a couple thousand dollars in stocks.  Thats just a little something that wikipedia won't tell you.
