I think you both are close to what is going on. There is only one logical reason for not releasing a PR and that has to do with the share price. Even just saying they are logging would move the price some. So if you're going to release a PR that will move the price upwards, may as well make it a whopper. Only thing I can come up with why they are so silent. That last blog post wasn't much but perhaps they were hinting at us to read between the lines.
