I believe this is the reason that MMTC is having an outside 3rd party do the testing at the moment. Actually, the USDA is not needed any more. It is the many lawsuits that now police the food industry. Once people start getting sick from a pathogen, lawyers are called. The reason MMTC will do well in the market place is because of the new food bill that was passed in 2011. The food industry must now test their own food as the law requires.
