Its some of the big miners as we've posted who, drunk w the high prices of 2011, allowed their costs to rise to 100 plus/ton like Fortescue of Australia-now also hit w Australias 30% ore export tax. But some of the gold miners have done the same-having marginal costs of 1300-1700/ton- 1 chart of gold miners I've seen a couple times shows one gold miner w marginal costs of 2200/ton-what are they thinking?
